Reported absent wounded through October, 1862. Returned to duty on an unspecified date and was captured at or near Jericho Mills, Virginia, May 23 - 24, 1864. Confined at Point Lookout, Maryland until paroled and transferred to Aiken's Landing, James River, Virginia, where he was received March 16, 1865, for exchange. Hospitalized at Richmond on March 19, 1865, with scorbutus and was furloughed for thirty days on March 23, 1865.

Resided in Caldwell County where he enlisted at age 18, March 19, 1862. Present or accounted for until wounded at Shepherdstown, Virginia, on or about September 20, 1862. Reported absent wounded through October, 1862. Returned to duty on an unspecified date. Paroled at Appomattox Court House, Virginia, April 9, 1865.

Resided in Caldwell County where he enlisted at age 26, March 19, 1862. Mustered in as Private. Reported absent wounded in October 1862, Place and date wounded not reported. Company records do not indicate whether he returned to duty; however, he was hospitalized at Richmond , Virginia, May 20, 1863, with a gunshot wound of the right heel. Returned to duty prior to September 1, 1864. Promoted to Corporal subsequent to October 31, 1864. Deserted to the enemy on or about February 20, 1865. Confined at Washington, D. C., until released on or about February 24, 1865, after taking the Oath of Allegiance.

Resided in Caldwell County and enlisted at Evansport, Virginia, at age 19, December 12, 1861. Hospitalized at Richmond Virginia, May 26, 1863. with a gunshot wound of the right leg. Place and date of wound not reported. Returned to duty prior to September 1, 1864. Deserted to the enemy on or about February 20, 1865. Confined at Washington D.C., until released on or about February 24, 1865, after taking the Oath of Allegiance.

Resided in Caldwell County and enlisted at age 21, December 12, 1861. Hospitalized at Richmond, Virginia, September 17, 1862, with diarrhoea and died on October 26, 1862, of "scorbutus."

Resided in Caldwell County and enlisted at Orange Court House, Virginia, February 10, 1864, for the war. Captured at the Appomattox River, Virginia, April 3, 1865. Confined at Hart's Island, New York Harbor, until released on June 19, 1865, after taking the Oath of Allegiance.

Place and date wounded not reported. Returned to duty prior to December 13, 1862, when he was wounded in the right arm at Fredicksburg, Virginia. Right arm amputated. Dicharged April 16, 1863.

Resided in Caldwell County where he enlisted at age 21, April 30, 1861. Reported on duty as a teamster in July - October, 1862. Hospitalized at Richmond Virginia, May 11, 1863, with an unspecified complaint and was transferred to Salisbury on May 23, 1863. [Roll of Honor indicates he was wounded in an unspecified battle.] No further records.
