James Rufus Mays

 On June 17th 1865 forty acres of land owned by James R. Mays, deceased, were sold at public auction to Jesse R. Huggins. The sale price was $243. Prior to the sale the personal estate of James R Mays was appraised on Jan 6th 1865 as follows:
